The consumer choices on the preferred commercial certification standard calls for exporters to comply to either one or more of the standards, such as Organic, Global G.A.P, SMETA, GFSI, Rainforest Alliance, Fairtrade. Compliances to Hygiene and Food safety has becoming a must and not option in order to avoid food contamination with harmful products and also proper regulation of the plant protection products with lowest health adverse impact to consumers.
ASEMA Ltd takes the charge of awareness creation to producers on what is prohibited on the market including helping them to meet the Maximum Residual Limit (MRL).
